"I Want To Be" Program a succes

We have just completed another successful "I Want To Be" Program cycle at the Centre. Again 40 children had the opportunity to participate.

Big *Thank You* to the team!! Auntie Georgina, Doris, Enoch Frank, Auntie Naomi, Stella, Sophie, Duco and the TUCEE team for a job well done!!

The first 2 modules of the program involved putting together one's profile, indicating what they wanted to be in the future and research companies in the community ahead of the field trip to visit them.  The company visits were great!  Thank you Ghana Airforce, Ghana Navy, Portea Hotel, Voltic Water Depot, Franks's International and Supermaritime.

 Visiting companies during this program are one of the highlights.  For many children, it is the first time that they are able to see first hand either how a product is made or a service rendered. Engaging with professionals and asking them how they got to where they are today and what you need academically and personally to get to such a position was very educational.
