Meet Abraham Farmmer

Meet Abraham Farmmer

I was  8 years old when I registered at To Be Worldwide. It became my home every Saturday. I was able to create bonds and increase my public speaking at a young age, due to the presentations and other fun activities at the library.  At the age 16, I was still frequent at the library. I am currently reading Geography and Rural Development at KNUST, all thanks to the library. They helped me discover my potential and improve my intellect. I am most grateful to the To Be Worldwide Library for everything."

Recycling was an important topic as well inspiring them to make products recycling plastic, like a raincoat and pencil cases.

As we always want to remain relevant and innovative, we felt the children from the public schools that we serve, should be supported to focus on these subjects. This will help them consider promising careers in STEM for the future. We are testing resources and looking for the right partners. Stay tuned!

A tablet at home

A tablet at home

Reaching children during lockdown was one of our biggest challenges. A challenge leads to action. We are very excited to introduce our new program "To Be Connected". Providing children with access to a tablet for home use in combination with our e-learning software Education City. The first 5 tablets have been distributed. We are grateful to our sponsor for making it possible. We will expand the program to another 10 children this year.
